The Public Education Team provides 9-1-1 education to children and adults through a variety of programs such as the 9-1-1 Mobile Classroom. The department created a 9-1-1 Hero Award program that recognizes youth in the community for placing outstanding 9-1-1 calls. They also provide information to the public regarding the Emergency Notification System and Text to 9-1-1.
