Resolution 07-12

Authority Member ____________ move approval of the following resolution:

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN A CONTRACT WITH CONTACT ONE FOR ADDITIONAL GIS SERVICES THROUGH THE END OF 2007 NOT TO EXCEED $95,000.00.

WHEREAS, the El Paso – Teller Emergency Telephone Service Authority was created to provide a two-county wide E9-1-1 system, and;

WHEREAS, Contact One has created the GIS system currently being utilized for mapping latitude and longitude on 9-1-1 comings into the PSAPs, and;

WHEREAS, the master database, needs to transition to newer and more modern software, so that faster speeds and more information can be derived from the GIS database, and;

WHEREAS, Contact One has the proper resources on staff to provide the expertise needed to update this project.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:

The Chairman of the Board is authorized to sign a contract for additional GIS services from Contact Map, running through the end of 2007.
