Resolution 07-07

Authority Member _________________ moved approval of the following resolution:

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF THE AUTHORITY INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR ONE YEAR (MARCH 2007 – MARCH 2008) WITH VFIS AT A COST OF $19,441.00.

WHEREAS, pursuant to the Restated Intergovernmental Agreement, the El Paso – Teller County Emergency Telephone Service Authority (Authority) was established for the purpose of generally administering the operation of a two county-wide emergency telephone system; and

WHEREAS, pursuant to the Colorado State Statute § 29-11-101 through 105, the Authority has purchased and installed the required equipment to provide for the operation of the Enhanced 9-1-1 system; and

WHEREAS, the Authority desires to provide adequate insurance coverage for the protection of all installed equipment; and

WHEREAS, the Authority further desires to continue Liability Coverage for the members of the Authority; and

WHEREAS, the Authority desires continued coverage on all non-owned automobiles.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:

The Authority authorizes the issuance of Liability, Property and Non-owned Automobile coverage beginning March 1^st, 2007 through March 1^st, 2008 with VFIS at a cost of $19,441.00.
