Resolution 07-05

 

 

Authority Member ______________ moved approval of the following resolution:

 

CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD IS AUTHORIZED TO SIGN A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING FOR THE PURCHASE OF DIGITAL ORTHOPHOTOGRAPHY.

 

WHEREAS, The City of Colorado Springs, the Colorado Springs Utilities, El Paso County and Teller County have entered into an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) to establish the Pikes Peak Geospatial Alliance (PPGA); and,

 

WHEREAS, the members wish to acquire digital orthorectified imagery for an area encompassing El Paso and Teller Counties an the Fort Carson boundary which extends into neighboring counties; and,

 

WHEREAS, the acquisition cost to individual members can be substantially reduced by jointly acquiring this data.

 

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:

 

The Chairman of the Board is directed to sign this Memorandum of Understanding to receive the needed Digital Orthophotography.
