Resolution 07-04

 

Authority Member ___________ moved approval of the following resolution:

 

A RESOLUTION INCREASING THE AMOUNT OF COMPENSATION FOR THE JKA CONSULTING, LLC CONTRACT FOR THE YEAR 2007.

 

WHEREAS, pursuant to Colorado State Law, the Authority has contracted with JKA Consulting, LLC to provide consulting as to the day to day operation of the two county wide emergency telephone system (9-1-1), and;

 

WHEREAS, several of the Public Safety Answering Points (PSAP) have initiated use of the police and fire protocols, and;

 

WHEREAS, these agencies have requested the Authority provide quality assurance analyst support for these two protocol as is being provided for the EMD protocol, and;

 

WHEREAS, an additional employee is required to handle this additional work load, and;

 

WHEREAS, the authority did budget the funding for this position in the 2007 budget.

 

NOW THEREFOR, BE IT RESOLVED

 

The Chairman of the Authority Board is directed to sign Amendment Number Four, for attachment to the original contract and Amendments. Amendment number Four establishes the compensation for Year 2007 at $785,271.00.
