Resolution 07-01

Authority Member ____________ moved approval of the following resolution:

A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING THE PAST SERVICE OF LYNN SHERMAN TO THE EL PASO – TELLER COUNTY ENHANCED 9-1-1 AUTHORITY.

WHEREAS, the El Paso – Teller County 9-1-1 system relies on assistance from members of the Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) community; and,

WHEREAS, Lynn Sherman served for ten years as the Communications Manager for the Colorado Springs Police Department; and,

WHEREAS, during that time Mr. Sherman participated in many committees and groups working on projects of the 9-1-1 system; and,

WHEREAS, Mr. Sherman provided guidance and expertise for many of the projects of the Authority.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:

For his time and assistance to the El Paso – Teller County Enhanced 9-1-1 system and ultimate service to the citizens of El Paso and Teller County, the El Paso – Teller County Enhanced 9-1-1 Authority adopts this resolution in honor of Lynn Sherman.
