Primary PSAP Alternate List
In the event that a PSAP must be evacuated, the alternate PSAP system
will be activated. Transfer of PSAP calls can occur in several ways. They are:
1)
The “Make-Busy”
switch can be activated manually at any PSAP, which will automatically transfer
all PSAP calls to the Alternate.
2)
If after a
pre-determined number of rings on the telephone with no answer, the calls will
transfer to the Alternate.
3)
A manual
transfer of calls can occur with notification to the appropriate central
office.
